Abstract
The syndrome of internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) comprises a group of clinical signs arising from a lesion of the medial longitudinal fasciculus. It is manifested by impaired adduction of one eye, and dissociated horizontal jerky nystagmus of the contralateral abducting eye. WEBINO syndrome refers to the condition of bilateral INO with exotropia in primary position. This condition was reported in the patients with tuberculous granuloma, multiple sclerosis and occlusive vascular disease. But the pathophysiology of WEBINO syndrome is controversial. We report 2 patients of WEBINO syndrome, one with midbrain infarction and the other with infarction in the pontine tegmentum. Key Words : WEBINO, Infarction
