Abstract
Spontaneous intracranial hypotension is a rare syndrome of spontaneously occuring postural headache with low CSF pressure. According to previous several reports, this syndrome usually presented self-limited course, so that conservative treatments were usually reconunended. We experienced an unexpected clinical course in a spontaneous intracranial hypotension case with downward displacement of brain and CSF lea-kage. Therefore, though spontaneous intracranial hypotension usually resolves spontaneously, we recommend careful lumbar puncture and aggressive management in the case of downward displacement of brain on MRI and CSF leakage on radionuclide cister-nography.
