Abstract

The use of interictal Tc-99m HMPAO SPECT images for localizing epileptic foci is limited by low sensitivty and specificity, while the routine use of ictal images is impractical for obvious reasons. To find out the possibility to solve these problems. We tried to stimulate the epileptic foci by provocation technique.
