A Case of Cerebral Infarction in Patient with Turner's Syndrome

Abstract

We report a 43-year-old woman with Turner's syndrome who has developed acute cerebral infarction during the therapy of nephrotic syndrome, which was associated with hypertension and diabetes. Much information is now available about Turner's syndrome in infancy, childhood and adolescence, but there is a paucity of information on the natural history and long-term follow-up of this syndrome in adulthood. This case suggests that a woman with this syndrome, complications occuring, may have ischemic stroke as well as hypertension, diabetes and renal disease. Therefore the early identification and preventive measures of these diseases are required.
